Annuals Flowers

Posted on May 28, 2020

When it comes to finding flowers that are easy to grow, annuals are the way to go. With bright, vibrant colors, annual flowers stay healthier and produce more blooms if they are maintained right.\n\nAnnual flowers and plants can grow in flower beds, along borders, and hanging baskets as well. Flowering annuals like petunias have beautiful blooms and grow strong across the entire season. Annuals also liven up any space with their colors.\n\nOne concern that people have are the impact that surrounding critters might have on their annuals. If you’re worried about that, considering deer resistant annuals can help.\n\nWhile petunias offer brightness and beauty, there are other colorful options. A few examples of these are vinca flowers, impatiens flowers, begonias, and yellow daisies.\n\nMost annuals will need water every day, and even more so if they are in the sun. Don't wait for them to wilt before you water them. Instead, look for signs like loss of gloss on leaves. You can also stick your finger into the soil to determine if your annuals need water. Typically annuals like their soil slightly and evenly watered 2 or 3 inches down.
